THE PINNACLE HOCKEY GROUP HOSTS
3RD ANNUAL “SOUTH FLORIDA PROSPECTS CAMP”
Scouts from collegiate hockey, major, minor and
junior leagues to evaluate local Youth Hockey Players during
weekend camp PEMBROKE PINES, FLORIDA - The 3rd Annual South
Florida Prospect Camp at Pines Ice Arena in Pembroke Pines,
FL has opened registration for the camp beginning on April 9
thru April 13. With only 120 spots available for this highly
competitive, special five-day event, it’s a can’t
miss for the serious South Florida hockey player.
Building on the success of the previous two years,
Pinnacle Hockey Group is anticipating an even larger turnout
from scouts and coaches from some of North America’s best
prep hockey programs and Junior Leagues. The event offers players
the chance to showcase their talent over three days of competitive
games. There is also an additional opportunity for players to
network and interact with scouts and coaches in a one-on-one
capacity over the course of the event.
This five day event offers players instruction
from some of the areas finest coaches. Tim Kyrkostas has logged
ice time as a Special Assistant coach with the NHL Florida Panthers,
as well as playing on the 2000 Division III NCAA National Championship
Norwich University. In addition to Kyrkostas, former Boston
Bruins goaltender Rob Tallas returns to the event for the third
straight year. Also participating is Steve Lynch, former Director
of the New Jersey Devils hockey program, and also coached the
2000 Peewee USA Hockey AA team to a national championship. Additional
coaches include Special Assistant Coach to the Florida Panthers
Vlad Cheremeta, and former professional player Rob Kenny.
This unique opportunity allows players in South
Florida to progress their hockey careers, and land in some of
the most competitive Junior and Prep formats in the Northeast.
